I got this chair from another recent deal at $100, and I love it. Some key points I took away from the previous threads regarding this model is

1. Hyken is best for smaller people, ideally ~5'4 maybe?
2.For taller people, the Dexley also sold by Staples and often on sale for ~$20 more is more suitable.
3. I'm 5'6, and while the chair felt comfortable, the headrest was a little too low even for me. I followed an online guide for a "mod" that turns the headrest support upside down so that it sits higher. I can't be happier with the result.

Sorry I can't share the mod, I'm at work and firewall you know 😕

Man these were like $150 'on sale' during the pandemic. After accounting for inflation, tariffs, any number of other reasons and excuses, I'd expect this to be like $250 now. $90 seems like a great price

Look at the price history in this post. It has been $90-100 since last June nothing special

Can you share the mod? I have this chair and the headrest issue is annoying

Staples is tacking on a $12.75 even for store pickup. When did Staples start to suck so hard? Did it just sneak up on us?

$90 is a great price.

I'm 220 lbs and it has held up the past 5 years. No signs of wear. My only upgrade has been to get rollerblade wheels for like $10 online.

Technically, yes, but if you are interested in this chair at this price you have to buy during the narrow discount windows. Otherwise, Staples jacks up the price. So not pure "bait and switch".

Probably since it's not in-stock at the store so they have to "ship" it to the store, and that incurs the fee.

Anyone have a similar code for the Dexley? This one did not work.

Highly recommended. Have about 10 months of use. Admittedly, with my size I should have gone with the dexley but this one was cheaper and I'm cheap. It's held me up just fine and shows no signs of wear and tear. In the office 4 days a week, 10 hours at a time. Added roller blade wheels which makes this even better. Solid buy!
