Ergo chair TechLead recommended in his chair review video. He likes it more than some of the Herman Miller chairs. It's 40% off right now which is lower than some used ones on Amazon.

This chair wears out in about a year or less. You'll feel yourself sitting on the steel and have to replace it. If you need a chair around $100, there's a similar one at Costco for around the same price, and you'll get a Costco membership to boot. Applause

After sitting on a bunch of $100 Staples chair over the years, my body eventually couldn't handle it anymore. I finally just splurge on a used Steelcase Leap v2 for $400 on Ebay. It will pay for itself in 3-4 years in time and money versus getting another office chair that you eventually have to replace from office stores like Staples.

If you need a chair to work from home and side projects to sit on for most of the day, get yourself a quality chair. Your body will thank you especially as you get older.

Honestly hate mine. Only 3 adjustment level for back (broke after 3 months but staples sent in parts replacement free of charge), seat mesh wears out fast and is not comfortable after a few hours. not to mention, the neck support is way too short as it is hitting my shoulder instead of my neck (I'm 5'7). yes, you can DIY modification fairly easy but still.

Shoot I already bought this one. I'll look out those Costco chairs for next year then 😂

Coupon expired; couldn't use it.

As for the Staples Hyken chair, we have 2. I've used the one I'm sitting in for the past 5 years as a daily workhorse chair. I haven't had any issues with either of them, and they're very supportive. The main thing is this chair is good for shorter folk like 5'8" and under and lighter than 200 lbs. Any more than that, you'll probably do better with the Staples Dexley chair. I also tend to heavily use the armrests and lean forward, but you can also lean backwards with your butt a little bit forwards, and the mesh back will support you; sitting completely flush with the chair back is not comfortable.

Staples warranty on this is 7 years IIRC, and they sent me a new pair of armrests when I mentioned that some of the faux leather has started to see some wear. Good luck!

Costco doesn't have any similar chairs.

You get what you pay for. I tried this chair in-store and it clearly doesn't have the durable feel of a Herman Miller or Steelcase chair that comes with 12yr warranty.

No lumbar support and no headrest.

I have two Aeron chairs and I prefer the hyken because of these two things.

Dunno about that. I've had my Dexley Mesh for two years and it's good. I bought another Dexley Mesh for my wife and a Hyken mesh for myself so I can give my old one to my sister-in-law.

Dude this chair is less than a tenth of the price of a Herman Miller. You can afford to buy a new one of these every year for ten years LOL

Herman Millers and Steelcase deals pop up regularly on Slickdeals for less than 10x Hyken price.

The last time I saw a "deal" it was for 15% off chairs that start at $1250. You're being highly disingenuous if you think a $140 chair should compare to one over a thousand dollars.
