This chair wears out in about a year or less. You'll feel yourself sitting on the steel and have to replace it. If you need a chair around $100, there's a similar one at Costco for around the same price, and you'll get a Costco membership to boot.
After sitting on a bunch of $100 Staples chair over the years, my body eventually couldn't handle it anymore. I finally just splurge on a used Steelcase Leap v2 for $400 on Ebay. It will pay for itself in 3-4 years in time and money versus getting another office chair that you eventually have to replace from office stores like Staples.
If you need a chair to work from home and side projects to sit on for most of the day, get yourself a quality chair. Your body will thank you especially as you get older.

As for the Staples Hyken chair, we have 2. I've used the one I'm sitting in for the past 5 years as a daily workhorse chair. I haven't had any issues with either of them, and they're very supportive. The main thing is this chair is good for shorter folk like 5'8" and under and lighter than 200 lbs. Any more than that, you'll probably do better with the Staples Dexley chair. I also tend to heavily use the armrests and lean forward, but you can also lean backwards with your butt a little bit forwards, and the mesh back will support you; sitting completely flush with the chair back is not comfortable.
Staples warranty on this is 7 years IIRC, and they sent me a new pair of armrests when I mentioned that some of the faux leather has started to see some wear. Good luck!

I have two Aeron chairs and I prefer the hyken because of these two things.

Dude this chair is less than a tenth of the price of a Herman Miller. You can afford to buy a new one of these every year for ten years LOL
