Have had one for 3 years, 170lbs 6'1 wasn't able to use headrest. The mesh is holding up, and everything else.

If I had to do it again I'd get a model with a cushioned seat pan, and articulating arm rest. The mesh seat hurts after a while. The lumbar support also slides down from the highest setting often, annoying.

My Haworth Zody II at the office is vasty superior but not anywhere in the same price range.

For the price this is probably still one of the best entry ergonomic task chairs, that said I should have just bought a used Haworth Zody, or a Steelcase Think or Leap V2 as you get what you pay for.

decent chair. the mesh on these has a rubbery coating which is a little weird. hard plastic casters suck but those are cheap to upgrade.
mines held up well for 2 years now.

I grabbed one of these during the Covid WFH state. Has held up great, still use it 2-3 times a week for work. It's quite comfortable in my opinion.

I had the same problem with the headrest. I bought mine 5 years ago and at the time, some people in the forums mentioned installing the headrest upside down and adjusting the height to your preference. It has worked well for me since then.

I always describe it as the poor mans Herman Miller Aeron chair. I had a few and they are great chairs at the sale price. The warranty service is excellent if anything were to go wrong with it.

I got the same one from Staples back in January 2024. I also bought a seat cushion, and based on someone's recommendation, I swapped the chair's caster wheels. Best decision.

If you are 5'10" or taller skip this and go for the dexley.

Good suggestion, though right now the Dexley costs $50 more, see here [staples.com].

Ordered a gray one for my daughter since she likes the black one I got 3 years ago. Very comfy and sturdy. 6% R*********t cashback and 2% Apple Card cash back.

$1200 for a chair?....P. T. Barnum said it best, "There's a sucker born every minute".

Nah, just flip the headrest. Common mod. Someone recommended it when this was on SD a year or two ago. Super easy to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL5sBVRe8ic
Or if you lose the link, just search "stapels hyken headrest mod" and you'll find it right away.
