I'm a big GearWrench fan and this is a great price... but this is not one of their better tools. The 1/4" socket adapter pulls out nearly every time I go to pull the socket off (which many of the reviewers also call out as a design flaw). It's pretty slim and it's 12" (longer than most 1/4" ratchets), but that makes it a big pain to use often.

yes, it is (literally)
very niche. I'm happy to have it though when I do need it.

I got this around Christmas time for $19 which was the all-time low for this tool. It's fine but it's really kind of a gimmick. I've had it for six months and it has never come in that handy or gotten me out of a jam. If I'm honest I don't think I would even pay $19 for it now. Put the money towards a quality proper ratchet.

Oh, I guess that was the all-time low. Says here on camelcamelcamel. I still don't know if I would buy it again even at that price. It just kind of sits in my box doing nothing. Do you find it useful?

This tool is good for delicate work like small screws, hose clamps, small bolts. Don't try to use this for anything more than 18 ft/lbs, it'll snap.

I completely agree about the adapter… I use it a lot with 1/4 inch bits… The extra reach helps in some tight spots…

yep, this is a very specific tool and will not be your go-to for most things, but i love this with 1/4 bits, i never use it with the adapter. works great on bike maintenance for things like loosening brake rotor screws quickly

It's $24 now?! I bought it for under $17 about a year ago or so when it was on SD.

It's a decent cool little...long wrench

But not for $24

They are driving tool prices up I think with bots thumbing up some of these post
