The DRX3.4 is essentially the TX-NR7100 with added pre-outs and a 5 yr warranty. Ive not owned the Denon, but based on the specs and my needs the DRX would be my clear choice. The DIRAC room correction is superior to that included with the Denon (so I read). At this price, you really cant go wrong. Forgot to mention, I really love how it sounds as well!

So I bought an Onkyo TX-nr6100 and after a year and a half the hdmi bricked. I am looking to buy this deal but am wondering if I should get the Adorama warranty for 2 years or just use the factory 3 year warranty. Any thoughts?

Are you guys using the included mic for DIRAC? An $80 UMIK is like $120 by the time you pay tariff and shipping.
The included mic is good for the included app.
Highly recommended to use the PC version of Dirac, much more versatile.

You will need that UMIK mic for that & better to get it directly, least expensive($79+$25 shipping).

This has a 5 year manufactures warranty so you should be fine.

amazing thank you, last question and this is a silly one, I am assuming under Height 1 is where i could connecty my speaker wire for Zone 2, is that correct? These are just 2 Klipsch Outdoor speakers connected with outdoor speaker wire. Does that seem accurate? I looked at the instructions and it wasn't fully clear

You can also use the provided mic coupled with the receiver through the PC app.

You should contact Onkyo support to verify the warranty status. The tx-nr6100 may have a 2 year warranty as does the tx-nr7100. If you purchased with a credit card check if your issuer provides extended warranty coverage. Otherwise, the drx 3.4 is an excellent replacement at this price and a step up with features.

Depending on your setup but yes.
Here is the manual, look under speaker connections to verify.

Not recommended, much better to connect the mic to your laptop.
Even you stated the UMIK will produce better results.

It's "supposed to" have a 5-year warranty BUT on a search of authorized dealers ( see below the USA map on the webpage link below), it doesn't show as an authorized 'online dealer'. Need an 'authorized dealer' to get the product's 5-year warranty service? and Why buy am Adorama warranty if it's already on a 5-year limited warranty? check here:

There must be tons of Integra owners who purchased from Adorama on this site over the years. Has anyone had issues w/warranty repair claims?

Just found this video by an Adorama buyer that used Sickdeals link to purchase it at the start of 2025. He mentions warranty in a couple of places in the video and does other model comparisons. He likes it! link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyvPPOLcYU (he's of the: TwoGuzTech channel)

Link didn't work but assuming you meant TwoGuyzTech, I found the video. It covered the value aspect of the receiver (which I agree with) but it assumed that the HDMI issues were a thing of the past (they're not). Yes there's a fan in there but quite a number of owners have mentioned never hearing it turn on! Also, the heatsinks that the HDMI ports desperately need are not in the DRX 3.4 but rather in the much more updated RZ30 and big brother RZ70.

I am new to recevers. Would it work with 9.2.4 setup? I have 600W LCR speakers, 6 wall speakers, 4 ceiling with 2 subwoofers.

This is a 9 channel receiver. Looks like you need something for 13 channels

No this can only process up to 9 channels.
Here is the optimal guide to follow for a proper 9.1(2).4 setup.

If you can't follow this fairly close with quality speakers. In my experience it's not worth the added cost.

Processing & powering 13 channels is a costly endeavor.
More speakers doesn't necessarily mean better performance especially if proper placement isn't followed imo.
