Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

Hi All:
On a trip to Europe now. Boost Mobile / SIM tries to get me on a $20/month roaming plan. I am just using wifi, but very rarely with the new phone.
In Athens, I found only 1 case at a few places. Pricing ranged from 2-8 euros (1.17 E/USD). It has 4 small cutouts for each rear camera and light. It is thin and does NOT protect the front glass in any way as it is short of the front glass by a mm or 2. "Fashion case Mobile Cover Products" Edge 40 Pro. Black, but think there was another color option too. UPC: 6 988188 700292. The shop also had a machine to cut a plastic shield for the glass which included a tiny hole for the front tiny selfie camera. He peeled off some upper and lower plastic tabs in placing the plastic glass cover. Then he carefully got the curved edges covered and very carefully cleaned up the margins. This was not the UV light product. The plastic shield product was cut and installed for 7 or 8 euros. Told there is no curved glass shield for this phone and was not offered a flat glass shield like for the MEP 2022. I replaced my 2022 glass shield for 2 euros and he did the replacement in front of me. Folks at the shop are real pros and the place had tons of selection for many phone types. So yes, this curved screen is proving to be a real pain. Oh well. FWIW, still showing sold out on the Boost Mobile website.

I don't like the curved screen. I'm glad Samsung got rid of it too. Motorola will probably get rid of it at some point too. What a waste of money to manufacture.

2 main reasons. First, the screen is more vulnerable. You can't find a good screen protector easily and the case doesn't protect the curved part.
Second, when you want to screen save something at the edges, it's harder than regular screens. Quite annoying.
And it doesn't offer anything positive. It's just a gimmick

For Motorola phones, I found out you have to be on Wi-Fi to download and Install software updates

So don't buy. Not everything exists for you holy cow. So conceited. If I don't like Tesla you won't see me complaining about them catching on fire or FSD being buggy.

Motorola isn't forcing anyone to buy 2 year old phone. It's the consumer's choice to look up reviews of what they're buying. If you buy and don't like, when ample amount of videos exist, idk what to say. Your fault for buying. This is literally no different than exotic cars that go 200mph and are largely useless on US roads. And yet people still buy them.

I'm not seeing Android 15 either on 5g or wifi.

Looks like this Edge+ deal is dead now. Has it ever been out of stock before for this long?

Got one to try out and like it enough to consider using as my daily driver and was thinking to get another to play around with to unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom (never done this before on any phone so want to learn how this all works). But maybe the out of stock is a sign to stop spending more money on this.

Anyone on android 15 -- does the update change the e-sim settings? As in can you actually see the e-sim info in settings now?

Also, does it finally allow you to change the default passkey provider after the update? This functionally was added in Android 14, but for whatever reason, Motorola did not incorporate it into their build. Wondering if you can change passkey provider on A15 on the Edge+ 2023.

TIA!

Got Poetic Guardian Case $16 on Amazon it has raised corners so screen never touches flat surface it has gap to protect screen and built in screen protector doesn't use adhesive.

I have a Project Genesis SIM card which is unlimited 5G data with unlimited 5G hotspot for $25 per month. I can use that P sim card with any Boost Mobile phone. This phone has the best specs of all Motorola in the US market.
Hey MrWinUSA what do you think of project Genesis? How's your experience been?
