10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Massive tip to users of this phoneIf you have any games or apps which have sluggish performance or choppy graphics go into developer options and enable the standard graphic driver for that specific appDoing this made Umamusume run as well as on iphone 15 pro Max
Not sure if you're just playing games off of the Play Store, but if you're using emulators like Citron to play Switch games, you can use whatever custom driver you want. Currently using the latest turnip 25.3.0 driver.
Also, I'm pretty sure they added bypass charging in Android 15 to this phone, even though it's not mentioned or advertised anywhere.
I can plug my phone in and it will stay at 81% and show not charging while I'm using the screen as well as displaying out to a monitor streaming video.
I made a post on the Moto Reddit to try and get feedback, only one person really replied and they said their phone was doing the same.
https://www.reddit.com/r/motorola...w/nd21zig/
According to AI Overview.
"Why Motorola phones don't have it?
Bypass charging isn't just a software feature; it requires dedicated hardware on the phone's motherboard to route power from the charging port directly to the system.
This specific hardware is not included in the design of current Motorola devices."

If that's not bypass charging, I don't know what it is.

Motorola can't add bypass charging with a software update. It is a specific hardware than needs to be in the phone.

All I can tell you is that my phone has stayed at 81% and not charging for over an hour while streaming video to a second monitor and using the phone with the screen on. According to phone settings and Accubattery.

It probably always says 80% connected but not charging once it hits that 80-81% mark when plugged in because it isn't supposed to be charging pass 80%.The battery is powering the device.
My Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has the 80% battery mode like the Motorola Edge+ 2023 and Stylus 2025 but that doesn't mean it has battery bypass. I went into game booster settings and the "pause USB PD charging when gaming" isn't able to be toggled on. The Galaxy A54 doesn't have the right hardware to perform that. It does have the 80% mode from the software just like the Edge+ 2023 and Stylus 2025.

PM sent.
I thought was a website? How do I know the code works?
I can send you the code first.
Edit: I have helped many via PM so far and there have been no failures.

It simply means that it is keeping the battery percentage at 80% or 81% and using the battery to power the device. You probably have overcharge protection on and that limits your battery to 80%.

Battery hasn't charged or discharged in 51 minutes according to Acubattery.

The Samsung and Pixel has the specific hardware to "bypass the battery" to power the device. Some people keep their phone plugged in overnight because of the battery bypass charging. I don't recommend you doing that because you think your Motorola has bypass battery charging. Listen to GSMArena, AI Overview and all other websites that say "Motorola doesn't have the hardware for bypass charging". 80% Adaptive has nothing to do with bypass charging. Pixel phones require 80% mode for their bypass battery charging to be enabled. Samsung needs you to go into their settings to enable in game mode. Pixel and the pretty expensive Samsung phones have bypass charging.

$100 diff? File charge back?
I am sorry $315, not $375... sorry typo. During the ordering process online, I was told to pay $275 and I did pay that amount. But yesterday they activated my 3 lines, then they billed me $40 more. What the hell? Now my next month bill has an additional $40.
How would one get 3 phones for a measly $275 or $315? $60 plan requires. That is way too low. Even with an additional $40 to only $315 is way too low. I guess you got some group plan deal with 3 line deal. I believed that the monthly plan needed to be the $60 monthly plan to get the phone deal. 3 phones with less than $60 plans for only $315 is a great deal to me.
My credit card was charged once but using the boost app, it does show 2 charges and that is the initial charge $126.88 and $61 monthly charge a couple days after. However my credit card was never charged that second payment.

Phone - $60/each
Plan - $60/line for 1 line, $50/line for 2 lines, and $46.67/line for 3 lines.
$60 x 3 = $180 for the phones
$46.67 x 3 = $140 for the service lines
Total would be approx. $320
