Interesting. I don't do Costco as the nearest one is 50 miles away. But I frequent Walmart pickup orders from a Walmart where everything codes as grocery, and those also code at 5% on PP Debit.

Is this supposed to be applied immediately after purchasing from the store? I bought it from Metro Market, but the activated deal isn't being applied. That seems strange.

Its never been instant -- give it a few days for the charge to fully post then a few days for the credit to post so about a week (sometimes the credit might get delayed by a few weeks in which case you just have to wait it out)
