Dang, I just bought this exact router for $60 a few months ago.Performance is good, been using tp-link for years and always been happy with them.

Have a bunch of TP-Link routers, and I've accumulated a fair amount of experience with them. They are very reliable and performance is very good for the cost. Key thing is to manage them directly and not use tplink.net.

I've switched to using them in EasyMesh mode. It's not quite as good as a dedicated mesh router kit, but it functions the same way once set up, The AX1500s I use as satellites deliver 500mbps wireless throughput via a wired backhaul, which is pretty good, considering the relatively low end hardware in them.

If you already have a TPLink router, and have a need for wider coverage via mesh, it's worth picking one of these up.
