Over a million sales within the first quarter isn't peanuts. It did pretty well. It's not as good as it's predecessor. I would say it's an OK game. They definitely upset a lot of fans with their decisions on locking New Game+ behind a pay wall. It's something that has been a staple of the series and it used to be necessary for trophy hunters. pushing them in as dlc trophies was lame. I miss the challenge from the older games.

Sad that you say it isn't as good as it's predecessor. I am in chapter 2 and it is so good. I am finding the difficulty alittle challenging though. As for the story, they made a decent bridgeway into this one. I really thought new game+ and the excessive price different between base game and deluxe is what made people turned off. I recommended getting this game for steam deck as you can have instant on and sleep mode activated within a push of a button. Playing games like this on a TV seem so tiresome as it is a long game from what I heard. I bought the ps5 version last April in 2024 at this exact price, so it is matching the all time low. It will go lower I am sure by end of year but probably to 20 dollars
