How do I get my trade-in payment?
After your device is processed, you'll receive a credit for its assessed value. If you've paid for your new device in full, the trade-in credit will be refunded to your account within the next two billing cycles. Otherwise, a monthly credit will be applied to your Device Payment Plan in equal increments for the remainder of the plan, starting within two billing cycles.
Doing the mail in is more stressful since you get the immediate TIV in store but I had no problems last time I did this.

I am trying to trade-in an iPhone, following for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7,Blue Shadow, 512GB with eSIM

Sales Tax on Equipment $172.25
Charges Total $2172.24
Which means I end up paying 1077.24 (2172.24 minus 1095) as final cost, does the device really cost that much with extra storage? I have not shopped mobiles recently.
