You should not be able to unlock until 60 days after purchase.

Every time I have done this promo before it went like this:
Trade in Phone - receive credit a few days later
Transfer credit back to credit card
wait 60 days to unlock
cancel line after that

No issues at all. However, I have Spectrum internet so my account is still open.

Not sure what you are doing wrong or if the rules have changed.

They only care they can get to the main screen to look up IMEI and phone model. No one care it's activated or not. This is same for any trade in deals.

I am thinking of doing this offer, so how much is the final price of the phone after the 1000 credit ?
So 1999 -1000 = 1000 + 40 for a motor 2025 + 2 months of service 60

Chatted with spectrum today, not budging at all on the 2 billing cycles before the credit arrives. This is lame.

In my case, credited to my account, but not transferring back to my credit card, opened ticket couple of weeks back and now they are not even giving me estimate on how long its going to take to transfer. Something really fishy this time.

Wow really? So the credit is already on the account but they refuse to credit it back??

what's the reason the credit isn't on your card?

There is nothing fishy about it. I did get them to unlock early through chat. I Did cancel the line because I was able to unlock the device and they charged me the 1,000 on the account. I also have spectrum internet. Here is a screenshot of the charge.

Do you have to keep the phone active 60 days with a phone number to unlock? I heard that other upgraded their line multiple times with the s25 promotion.
