I have tried other Chinese brands on Amazon (around $20) and for occasional uses, they're fine. I also have the combo ones as well (jumper/tire inflator) as emergency backup. No need for two separate ones. Noco is supposedly more reliable than Chinese brands, but it more has to do with how well the battery inside is built. Most manufacturers recommend checking the battery level and recharge it if needed once a month.

I bought the NOCO GB40 back in 2018 and have used it several times to help friends and strangers that were stranded. It's still running great after all these years. Very useful product to keep in your car.

Also bought the NOCO GBC013 hard storage case to keep it in. Much better than the storage pouch that came with it

It was + $10 more last Sunday when I looked at it.
I stumbled across it this morning on Slickdeals and bought it for $59.99 at 8:19am CDT according to the Amazon confirmation email.

Thanks for the feedback. Hard to trust amazon reviews anymore, esp on items sold by 3rd party. I should probably wait on a Noco Boost higher capacity one to jump-start a Suburban.
