Depending on where you're travelling, you are better off getting a local e-sim. Or even Trip.com or Agoda has cheaper e-sims.

Japan, I paid $13.16 for a 15-day pass. 1GB/day for two devices, and if I ever ran out, which I never did, it would have given me 384kbps data for use until the next day. Plenty for Google Maps and basic email. under $7 per device.

Comparable plan on Airalo, even with the 15% cashback was more expensive. Twice the cost. It was even cheaper in South Korea.

Point being, shop around. But Airalo or similar U.S. based services might be more convenient for the price difference.

SOB I completely forgot about this. The last one expired a couple days ago and I remember thinking it figured with my upcoming trip on Friday. I wonder if I can select it now and it'll still post.

There is a $5 coupon for Spain on saily.com. I just bought a 30 day eSim with 10 GB of data for $10.99 AC. The 30 day plan with 5GB of data would only have been $5.99. (google saily.com coupon.)

Interesting but putting visa number instead of PayPal feels weird. Is it GigSky only or other eSIM providers ?

Airalo routes through Israeli servers & they regularly overcharge for data

try esimdb.com for a comparison of various providers

Trip.com search esim. Various options based on your need. I paid about $4 for daily 1GB for 8 days.

I know they're popular, but Airalo screwed me on an esim. Couldn't get it configured, around in circles with an AI chatbot and couldn't get real support, wouldn't refund anything. Used the site you linked on my last trip instead, which helps identify the best destination-specific options.
