If you're spending this sort of money go EG4 or similar and get a proper system, much longer warranty, and you're not locked into a specific brand ecosystem. I had a full Ecoflow system installed: Smart Home Panel 2, Delta Pro Ultra (1 inverter and 2 batteries), Ecoflow PowerInsight (expensive Android tablet for monitoring system). Within 1 week the Smart Home Panel had failed and couldn't be repaired leaving half my house without power, they couldn't tell me when they'd have stock to send to me so I chose to replace it with a manual transfer panel. For several weeks after a software update the Ecoflow tablet didn't display any data, after a later software update it started working again. Ecoflow has pushed software updates that have bricked customers devices in just the last year.

I would strongly suggest avoiding Ecoflow, especially for critical and higher end energy storage. Their products are at the high end of the market but the quality is suspect, the software updates are often not properly tested, and their marketing is focused on getting influencers to pose as real customers on social media to mislead people (their Reddit has been flooded with people pretending to be customers but are clearly employees or influencers).

Does the Federal Energy credit apply for this? Or did it expired.

Great deal! Even no tax for me, so it's better. Would be nicer if they include the SHP2 like Costco did.

Sorry if I'm missing this in the specs, but don't you still need a panel transfer switch to connect this to my main breaker?

They do make a smart panel if you want to have this connected to the grid. It's basically a sub panel and can automatically switch power sources for you.

if you are getting solar installed can you ask the company to add some sort of connector to add this in? is that doable for a home owner to add this in?

I paid 8k for the Costco deal that featured the inverter, 18kw stack, and the smart home panel 2. Dbl check if that's still running. The system is incredible so far. Highly recommend if you're thinking about making the jump.

depends how much solar. But most solar companies won't help you. They'd rather you buy their overpriced stuff. Always worth asking. If not get an electrician not a solar installer

I have my solar ground mounted in my backyard since my roof have wonky layout. You just get a XT cable that connects to the DPU solar input on the inverter.

5 year warranty, i dont get it... Tesla may have been $8.2k+$900 for gateway for a powerwall 3 with 13.5kwh, but 10 year warranty makes my tummy feel good...

Anyway to get these to run off grid? I was thinking getting 3x and then their smart panel 2 and then moving all my breakers over. 3x inverters should allow me to max out the kw on their panel 2. Also planning to wire in solar to solar charge these. Anyone can direct me to get this setup? Or is it easier to go tesla powerwall with their self-generation mode?

Is Enphase not competing in the game anymore?

idk... I just had solar installed... got 25kwh enphase with my panels. It was about 15k before my state rebates (another 7.5k back). They work seamlessly with my system and have been rock solid for the three months I've had them. Yeah, it's a bit more expensive, but I kinda prefer having them in 5kwh individual packs. They can put out more amperage and if one breaks, I'm just replacing a single 5kwh battery and not a whole setup like this.
