What irks me the most is not the change, but devaluing points you earned under the 'old' point system. Suddenly, points I earned are worth nearly 1/2 on select items, that's BS.

Points earned prior to the changes should be grandfathered, either boost them up or allow them to be redeemed for the next 3-6 months at old levels.

That is why I urge everyone to convert your points between now and 10/5 to an actual reward that is affected. I typically get the cold brew for 500 points, so I am going to convert all my points to these rewards between now and 10/5 so between now and 11/4 I'll just get a free cold brew when I go rather than spend any money.

Dunkin is going to get a lot of blowback on this. I'm sure their fine print says the program can be changed at any time, but 18 days notice is lame as is the devaluing of points by as much almost 1/2 on select popular items.

Yeah, once they got rid of the birthday drink and came up with the current system, I convert points as quickly as possible to the tea (going up from 400 to 600 now). I'm actually shocked they gave any warning this time.

Good intel! I had almost 1300 points that I usually save up for when I travel. Cashed them now so I don't lose them.

It was just too cheap. I rarely buy from DD and I used to get points/ rewards pretty easily. If they dont devalue, they would be out of business.

I do not think their system is designed to know distinguish "old points" v "new points".

This is BS and everyone knows it. And they are slowly raising prices. An XL hot black coffee is now 5 bucks after tax in NYC. But the 7/11 a couple blocks away has an XL hot black coffee for just 3.50 after tax. I'll be going to 7/11 more often now.

I no longer go to Dunkin with all the bad changes they have made. They lost a lot of formerly loyal customers myself included. Now I make coffee at home or hit up 7-11 which has espresso drinks for a lot less.

Relax people. Their point system has been nearly worthless since they changed it the last time. Shit coffee and shit point system. It's not that serious.
