Get Amazon coupons
Thread Details
Last Edited by divinedevil September 21, 2025 at 08:02 PM
I just noticed that all of my subscribe and save items have been modified to have sold by "Amazon and other top rated sellers" instead of Amazon.com. When I select Amazon as the seller, the order is updated negating the discounts and coupons, although the original order was placed with an item that was listed Amazon as shipper/seller. What BS is this?
Check in "account -> subscribe and save -> deliveries" section. I have included a screenshot from my phone app.
These were all new subscriptions and I never select a substitution.

"[...]I called about the one overcharge and they refunded the full amount of the item⦠which was unnecessary but nice."
Yep, That happened to me too, except it was for a few items, some $50 or so.
So please highlight that text and post the link to it.
It's on the subscribe and save help page. Did you even look for it before you asked?
Please find the text you mean. Highlight, then Right-click and "copy link to highlighted" and post where you believe it says this.
Amazon may, at their discretion, cancel a S&S order(s) if the price is lower than Amazon would like. They may do this at any time and without notification to the customer.
Amazon may then re-enter that S&S item(s) to a customer's account at the then-current price. They may do this at any time and without notification to the customer.
2) That claim means Amazon can cancel the order if they feel the price was too low in their opinion.
It does not say Amazon will edit the price to match a lower price within any time period. And again, this was not Amazon's words, but heresay.
The text that was supposedly taken from it would have been a snap to link to and or get back to and link to for a source for us here. Is that too much to ask?
When you quote a source, it is proper to link to it!
Here is where I am. Clueless as to where you were.

Amazon.com reserves the right to change the Subscribe & Save benefits, including the discount amounts and eligibility used to determine discount amounts, at any time in its sole discretion. All changes, including for existing subscriptions, will apply to future orders.

That section you quote would apply when policies get changed after orders are placed, no doubt. More like a CYA for ANYTHING they decide to change. It does not even mention current orders, but for future orders, at least at the end of it. The term current subscriptions, may not mean the same as already ordered for the current month. It gets confusing, naturally.
Here is the entire section you are quoting from:

If it's lower between the time the reminder email goes out, and the time it ships, they'll give you the lower price. Which sometimes means coupons won't work anymore

It is a catch-all - but because it is catch-all, it covers this specific situation. Amazon can lower - and raise - S&S price at any time.

The only time they would charge less after the invoice is created on a 1st-time S&S order is if and after you hit your 5+ items during that period. Then you may sasve additional percentage and the price would be lowered accordingly. They do retroactively drop prices after the order only for that. This is normal according to policy, and only for any qualifying items that offer a higher percentage discount for 5+ items ordered during the same month. Not all items have this upgradeable discount.
