I came here to mention the same keyboard. I used one as a gaming keyboard for about a year and loved it. Sure it's not a mechanical keyboard but the action is magnificent and much better than you would expect from a membrane keyboard. I hate to tell you but it's been on sale and still is on sale at woot for $16.99. Checked out the reviews... for the price I took the plunge. You can always return it if you really hate it but from what I could tell from the reviews (a lot of them on the product page are for a mouse not the keyboard itself) the key typing feels fine and its quiet which is what matters to me.
One issue is that the keys themselves don't light up but if you know your way around a keyboard the backlight bottom is enough.

These things suck. But, if you have a kid like me who is absolutely a destroyer of peripherals, then get it. It's no different than any other.

For the right price, many people will put tattoos of Arby's logo on any part of their bodies.

Just arrived, yeah it's membrane. Has all the trappings of a mechanical keyboard except the switches. If you want something that looks like a mechanical keyboard, but still prefer membrane, this is for you. As for me, this is 100% going to be a return.

Did something lead you to believe this was going to be a mechanical keyboard? It is one of the best membrane keyboards on the market. Certainly in that price range. Sounds like that one is on you.

I don't get why your comment was necessarily or productive to the conversation in any capacity. There was no blame to begin with. Just clarifying what the switches are made of.
