I thought it was gone for sure. Two year Dyson official warranty. Use mine daily.

I don't wear it in public other than on airplane, because it would have invited too much attentions. It feels nice to have the fan blowing on the face, however, I don't use the fan most of the time because I find the fan noise rather annoying. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice headphone actually. I was concerned about the weight before purchase but it's very well balanced, so as long as I am not moving around it's very comfortable.

Would it work well for mowing with the visor on? I've been wearing ear plugs and masks while mowing, this seem to do both.

Noise cancelling is not the same as hearing protection. Invest in a good set of earmuffs with Bluetooth if you want music while blocking mower noise. https://a.co/d/gxGTMrt

Thanks for the call out on the differences. I've mostly been wearing ear plugs but have used noise canceling headphones a few times. I'll know to stick with the ear plugs now.

Yes. It has excellent noise cancelation mode. I use it to block leafblowers as I can't stand them.

No need. Noise cancelling headphones DO serve as proper hearing protection. This is precisely why high end aviation headsets actually have LOWER passive noise reduction and active noise cancelling.
ANC is literally cancelling out the amplitude of sound waves reaching your eardrum. They serve the exact same purpose as standard physical ear protection.

Honestly this is the comparison I hear the most from people when they see me in public.

Was getting COVID every 6-9 months. Haven't gotten it once in almost 18 months since using consistently in public.
