Also I feel like the regular "deal" price for the 5200 has usually been $299. So is this much of a good deal?

I thought I was going with a Vitamix after our Blendtec died, but recent reviews across many models on their site mentioning service and support accusing people of using it improperly when they've tried to get service, sometimes even after a few months. I've since decided that something doesn't feel right. Going to pass on this and look at the Breville Super Q.

Vitamix days was a few weeks ago and this was 299. That's only once a year tho.
