These are great, very aggressive bite. They are tiny - so know what you're ordering. Great as a backstop on copper for example when doing comp fittings.

They're small. Not sure about tiny. Closer to 7" than 6". Those seeking truly tiny tools should instead look for the 4" and 5" alternatives from other brands.

I had this 6" on, 8", 10" and 12" v-jaw, along with a few other straight jaw and flat jaw. This 6" one is the only one I returned. It slips at the lock mechanism a lot more than other size, even on some 3/8 or 5/16 nut. The 6" size really gave me a false impression about how much less capable of this pliers for its size. It would make more sense to get some 4-5" pliers to be used with small nut instead.

Everything is made in China, thanks (Apple) and other American companies.

I was curious so I thought I'd share my findings. The ones I have are made in the US.

These are my "go to" pliers .. and to me, are an upgrade over channel lock. I have three different sizes, and have had them for years. Irwin makes a lot of top quality tools - check out project farm's YouTube channel if you're ever curious.

Not Everything, but way too many things.

However I don't think the blame lies with the manufacturers as much as it does with WalMart, corporate consolidation, Wall Street hedge funds and private equity firms. Walmart started it all with its intense pricing pressure put on the Manufacturers in the late 90's early 00's, this forced them to offshore or go out of business. The Manufacturers that managed to stick around in the U.S., started getting bought up by faceless hedge funds that cared nothing about the product, the quality of goods or the employees. Their only purpose with these acquisitions was to suck every last dime out of the brand, take on debt in the manufacturers name, layoff employees, sell off the assets, walk away with sacks of cash, then Rinse and Repeat. All of our politicians (both sides of the aisle) are complicit with this American Job killing practice. And the more these huge Conglomerates consolidate, the less likely it is that anything will change other than prices going up, quality going down and jobs created in the lowest cost country possible.
