It's not in the same class as the Hisense U7 series. The Q6 is missing local dimming (it's not mini-led) and apparently struggles in bright lighting. The best lower end large TV is probably the 2025 98" QM6K and it was at $1600. Better yet, people have found the "QM6K Pro" model at Costco which has the QM7K anti-reflective coating for $1600, but that's YMMV.

May I ask which TV you have, and how you like it? I'm in the market for a 75 inch and leaning towards TCL. The interface issue you speak of, is this something that would be solved by using a separate streaming device and just bypassing the built in one?
I plan on upgrading a 75 to an 83 soon as well, but looking for a nicer quality one for ps5.
