A Moto G Stylus 5G is a superior phone to a Moto G Stylus. Further, the 8GB RAM 256GB storage package is a notch above the standard, already superior to the phone this is being compared to, Moto 5G Stylus 5G.
Typing this from my Caramel Latte phone now.

I'm with you on the vegan leather. I've been using BlackBerry phones up until about a year and a half ago and always loved the grippy texture on the back of them. This Moto phone reminded me of that.
The original retail of the 2023 and the 2024 model were $300, the 2025, which I'm really keen to get as just a general upgrade, retails at $400, which does feel a bit high considering it's only a small upgrade to the 2024. The 2023, well.. That was one of the worse phones I've used. Of course I HEAVILY modified it, so that may have contributed, but it was CONSTANTLY having issues. My current is this 2024 here. Naturally, most people's favorite phones are their most current ones, but I haven't liked a phone this much since my Samsung Galaxy S5. And, like LG, they're not the "flagship" guys, so the phones are cheap AND get much cheaper pretty quickly. I still miss LG (loved my dual screen G8X), but Moto is a pretty good replacement. EXCEPT for one thing: no freaking AOD.. I know I don't need it, but it's SO nice being able just glance over and see what time it is, if I have notifications, etc. And despite finally switching to an OLED screen (pretty much necessary for AOD) for the 2024 model, still no AOD, and I've read that it's not on the 2025, either. Kind of a bummer, but that one was on the very bottom of my personal "wishlist" for phone features.
Sheesh, what a wall of text. Anyway, great phone!
Yes it does.
