These don't compare at all to the original lego bonsai. If you are just looking for variety, check out the many 3rd party brick bonsai's. They look much better, and cost less. Yeah yeah it's not lego, but they are original designs. And it's not like these are for kids to throw around anyway.

I think they're more organic and natural looking than the original bonsai set. They're much smaller scale so of course the resolution is lower, though.
