If you don't need the air fryer capability, this version of the Breville countertop oven is on sale for $216. We have it and love it.
(Last year's xmas season, it dropped to $200...no telling if it will again!)

I don't know. It took a bit to figure out the air fryer part, but it's pretty good... And for folks who don't have a ton of counter space this is a good unit.

Care to explain why? Is the air fryer function not good?

Any experience with this vs other air fryers? I had the large cuisinart one for about 10 years. Still works but it's a PITA to clean. The racks hold the grease from chicken tenders and nuggets, and doesn't come off in the dishwasher/scrubbing.I picked up the ninja foodi 10qt this morning but always wanted this Breville. I have no use for the oven functionality, but would use the toaster if it is good. For larger dishes, we have a wolf range, wolf steam/convection oven, and wolf speed oven. So I really don't need it for the baking capability. But I liked the size of the cuisinart for reheating pizza. Not sure how the ninja will work for that.

Only tried some random cheap air fryer before this. And had some sort of toaster oven way back, maybe same brand or something. This Pro model has convection and super convection. That's the air frying. It has multiple tray options. And you can turn the light on and see the food sizzling. You can adjust the tray levels height. And put multiple trays of course. The food crumbs collect at the bottom which it seems slides out or whatever. It should probably be possible to clean the sides and top and avoid the heating elements. It's just a really good toaster oven and as far as I know it compares well with any air fryers. Not sure if since it's larger than some it might take a couple extra minutes to heat up I guess. Not sure. Might be some tradeoff like that but generally it does extremely well I'd say.

Air fryer just makes things a tad crispier, good for fries and wings

I bought an air fryer the last Prime Days and I opted to go with the Nuwave Bravo XL Air Fryer/Grill. The unit itself and all the racks, etc. are BPA-free, Nuwave sells replacement parts, and compatible add-ons like pizza stones that will fit. Has a temperature probe and 100+ presets. After doing the research it seemed like the clear choice for my situation. I can see this unit lasting me a very long time.

For those without a lot of counter space, take a trip to Williams Sonoma if you have one nearby. This is a large countertop appliance and needs space to vent, taking a close look should help gauge if you have enough space. They too carry for the same price so you can take it home right away, and are way easier to deal with if you need to return.

This unit is the single best kitchen upgrade I've made in the past 10 years. I use it daily. The capacity is so big that I've only needed to fire up my large oven about 3 times since getting it. I also use the dehydrate function all the time. It has such precise controls and can go so low that it's upped my food preservation game quite a bit. Highly recommend it if you'll use several of the modes (bake, broil, air fry, and dehydrate, etc...). If you only need baking as a toaster/smaller oven then get a cheaper unit.

I've had mine for years and if it broke I would buy it again at retail price. This thing is used daily in my household. Baking, toasting, broiling, air frying, dehydrating.

Now it's definitely a big unit and you need the counter space, but we bake 90% of our meals in this and not the regular oven.

A smaller version Breville BOV860 is on sale too for $279.95: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3SHYNBG. I picked this one after measuring my countertop because BOV900 is just too big for us.
A bonus is that you can pick one of many colors.
