the door on this has a super strong aggressive seal when you close it, which it great but the average person who pulls on the door will either tip it over or struggle to open it.
Open it by the seal instead of the door. Wrap your hand ✋ up at the top grab a little bit of the white seal and pull gently and it opens with ease.

This 6.5 cubic foot upright freezer is best as a compact supplemental unit for extra groceries, sale meat, or basement storage. It chills fast, with the shelves doubling as refrigerant grids, and the strong door seal helps it hold temperature well. The manual defrost design can mean little ice buildup for some setups, though frost can build heavily in others. The main drawbacks are the small capacity, fixed shelves, and repeated reports of dented shipping or cracked interiors. A practical fit if you want upright convenience more than full freezer space.
people who need extra freezer space for sale stock in a basement or garage because it's "just big enough" for extra freezer groceries and is easy to deliver/setup and move through multiple doorways due to its upright size.
home cooks who want fast pull-down and longer storage without relying on frost-free operation because the shelves act like refrigerant grids, it can hit 0°F in under 2 hours, and it's manual defrost so food keeps longer.
buyers using it as a supplemental freezer alongside another freezer because it's only 6.5 cu ft (so it's more of a supplemental unit than a full fridge replacement).
people freezing items for a month or two who can handle manual defrost because one commenter bought it specifically to hoard steak when there's a good sale and expected to go about a year or two between defrosts with a dehumidifier in a NJ garage.
buyers who are relying on smooth delivery/packaging because multiple commenters report the freezer arrived dented (including being dented twice) and they advise not to buy due to shipping damage.
buyers who don't want to deal with frequent ice removal because commenters warn that you may have to empty it monthly to chisel ice out and call it "complete rubbish."
people who hate heavy frost buildup because at least one owner reports it "frosts up insanely too" after 3 years.
buyers who need adjustable interior shelving because the shelves cannot be removed, which limits how you can organize larger items.
buyers who need an easy refund if the unit arrives damaged because one commenter received a freezer with a cracked plastic interior and was denied a refund due to a 2-day return policy for major appliances.

1- How much is the electrical consumption of this?
2- Where does this stand when compared with Costco's 11-foot Hamilton Beach UF? Twice as big, about $300
Link for this Costco UF please?
To me that's a good thing in this case because the shelves are the refrigerant grids, cools down extremely fast. We've had this one for about a year. It hit 0˚ in less than 2 hours and it's not frost free so food keeps longer.

We have a little bit of ice on the top, but probably only a patch about 6"x6".
