I have been eyeing a freezer for months and just bit on this. I almost caved a few days ago and got the small Insignia upright but this is a way better value and brand.

This seems to be the normal sale price after some sleuthing. So good deal but not amazing. It'll pop this low again if you don't need now

I got this for 175 a few months ago from walmart, no issues with shipping. Some things to note, the shelves do not adjust, the unit makes some loud noises here and there, lately I've been noticing heavy frost. Still ok, but thinking of like something better/ different.

most of these are this price range is manual defrost. people still expecting auto defrost in the $100-300 range garage freezers of this size. pssssh. just get a full size fridge.

its not a big deal especially if just for freezer

this and many freezers like this are manual defrost. youll have to periodically defrost if its an issue for your siuation

Bought this freezer 11/2023 along with an extended warranty from walmart. Unit failed 03/2025. Has MUCH HASSLE filing the extended warranty claim. Finally after 45 days got claim approved. No coverage for spoiled. Replacement freezer came damaged. Even with freezer being delivered by FedEx I had to return the damaged freezer to a walmart store. MUCH HASSLE at store. You have 3 days to return the damaged freezer or walmart will not accept return.
Overall I would NOT choose this freezer again. Shipping issues (damage in transit), manual defrost, seal not sealing very well.
The replacement freezer has been working fine since 04/2025. The ONLY way I would purchase this model again is with an extended warranty (cost $65).
