is been out of stock for like a week now. Unless available in store. YMMV
Available for shipping in the mountain West but this is also why this specific one comes up maybe 12 times a year at this price (I guess it's taking over for the drx 3.4 as the new, hey didn't I see this deal posted at this exact price X days ago...)
If you want a upright that doesn't do manual defrost this and it's mechanical twins is a good deal, but personally I'm off to figure out if the slick deal alerts understand -'s.
I thought alot of people like having no auto defrost, as they believe it worsens quality from going through repeated freeze/thaw cycles, as well as make it more likely to fail vs just staying frozen?

Most (well made) frost free freezers wont get warm enough during the defrosting process to harm/degrade the quality of food. Generally, most people would do more harm improperly manually defrosting. But, opinions on the internet really do not represent the masses.
Just got mine plugged in! (no dents or dings during delivery like some other posts reported)
And as far as the no auto defrost goes.......... this is a 6.5 cu ft freezer. An ice chest or two can easily be used to store your frozen goods while you defrost and clean the unit.

This post was a long time ago but even so for $40 more from the time of the post and slightly bigger with FROST FREE option. Wouldn't this be a GREAT choice? What are my freezer experts opinion on this? Thank you
