the door on this has a super strong aggressive seal when you close it, which it great but the average person who pulls on the door will either tip it over or struggle to open it.
Open it by the seal instead of the door. Wrap your hand ✋ up at the top grab a little bit of the white seal and pull gently and it opens with ease.

This 6.5 cubic foot upright freezer is best as a compact supplemental unit for extra groceries, sale meat, or basement storage. It chills fast, with the shelves doubling as refrigerant grids, and the strong door seal helps it hold temperature well. The manual defrost design can mean little ice buildup for some setups, though frost can build heavily in others. The main drawbacks are the small capacity, fixed shelves, and repeated reports of dented shipping or cracked interiors. A practical fit if you want upright convenience more than full freezer space.
The freezer can reach 0°F in under two hours using its refrigerant-grid shelves for fast cooling.
The door seal stays very strong, and opening by pulling the seal can prevent tipping or struggle.
Minimal ice buildup can occur after more than a year, with no defrosting needed in that period.
The upright size can make delivery and setup easier, including fitting through four doorways.
Delivery can arrive dented or with a cracked plastic interior, and return/refund handling can be difficult with a short major-appliance return window.
The shelves cannot be removed, which limits how the interior can be configured for larger items.
Manual defrost can become a recurring chore, including warnings about having to empty it monthly to chisel ice out.
Heavy frost buildup can develop over time, including reports of frost-up after about three years.

1- How much is the electrical consumption of this?
2- Where does this stand when compared with Costco's 11-foot Hamilton Beach UF? Twice as big, about $300
Link for this Costco UF please?
To me that's a good thing in this case because the shelves are the refrigerant grids, cools down extremely fast. We've had this one for about a year. It hit 0˚ in less than 2 hours and it's not frost free so food keeps longer.

We have a little bit of ice on the top, but probably only a patch about 6"x6".
