Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Ok, two questions that I'm 100% confident have been answered already, but unfortunately not able to read through the entire 300 pages of posts to find the answer.I made two separate purchases using this offer about a week ago (before the terms were changed) and received roughly 18000 points ($180) on those two purchases. If I make an additional purchase now, will I still get the offer (even though I've made 2 purchases) and, if I do still get the offer, will the cashback be limited to $70 (based on the new $250 cap -- ie $180+$70=$250)?Thanks in advance for any help.
When u login to PayPal, does it show that you have already reached the cap?

I tried searching and reading the last few pages. I successfully did one transaction and see $250 pending. I have two paypal accounts with this offer. Can I do both or it it like one per ssn?
Give it a try. Ideally I couldn't get the offer to work on any of my other PayPal accounts inspire the offer being shown or added.
Upon clicking PayPal 4 month option, you will ideally be either denied or accepted the submission.

So, basically buy 1125 worth ofAmazon eGift cards from best buy and that should trigger it? Does the Kroger visa eGift also work?
Don't believe any prepaid card would work. But u can always try and see. Otherwise, just use the bank acct. Amz GC would trigger it from best buy.

It counted. Pending points finally showed up the next day on a $600 digital HD gift card

Buy GC that you don't regret in case they revert the points. I bought $600 visa gift cards for $605 which I will anyway use like cash. Great if they dont claw back the point, I will save $121 in points.
Quote from desi_munda :
Ok, 10,000 points are credited. This was from gift card purchase. Waiting for more!
Points are coming through (not just pending) for the GC purchases? Thanks

I made a purchase on Black Friday. As of today, my Pay in 4 plan is still showing 0 of 4 paid. It says "Points Pending" but no actual point amount. Guess I have to wait for the merchant to complete my order in order to see the points.
I'm in the same boat. I ordered on Apple

Few days ago I had 3 sets of pending points, together totaling close to $250.

Didn't take long for the first set of pending points to hit the "Confirmed" status. (11/18 purchase)

Today the second set of pending points went to Confirmed status. (11/21 purchase)

One more to go. (11/27 purchase)

When they are all 3 confirmed, I will be close to $250 but not over.

Two purchases made BEFORE the letter.
One purchase made AFTER the letter.

None of these purchases are for gift cards; they are all for merchandise from eBay (1) and AliExpress (2).
The eBay purchase arrived long time ago (still within the return window), the AliExpress shipments are still yet to be delivered.

I have 3 PI4 loans still outstanding, will not pay them off until pending points are confirmed.

Has anybody got past this?
"The card you added can't be used with this plan. Add a card to continue"
I tried two debit cards and three credit cards. ='(

I'll provide an update if I receive the points from all 3 of my transactions. The offer is even still available under my Rewards.
Any update?

I know there has been a lot of back and forth about "before the term changes" and "after the term changes" regarding "one more purchase after the letter"

While I don't know that will ever be truly settled, something did come to mind.

When the letter came out (terms changed) I wasn't able to do "one more buy". I did a cancellation on a purchase days before the new terms, but around 19200 points are still pending (which I won't get). I now consider that to be the reason i was cut off immediately, as I had repurchased that cancelled order (added promo codes to get a better deal) and the repurchase has 14622 points pending.

Accepting that 25000 was the max anyone could receive, it's too bad the rules of the game changed to the one purchase. It made for a lot of rejected points that would have been otherwise legit

YMMV. Spotted this on mobile and desktop. Expires 12/8/25. Up to $250 cashback (up to $1250 spend).

Since Chase Freedom has 5% cashback starting December 1st, you should be able to stack those two together, then pay the remaining payments early to milk the remainder of that cash back.

Hopefully other people have better luck than me. When I shopped at Sweetwater, I had the option to pay with PayPal but never got the option to pay later when I was in the PayPal screens. I went ahead and completed the transaction and I've seen no indications that I'll be getting 20% and yes I had activated it some hours before.

Starting to sound like it and we just have to try to remember all of this for next time. I do think we'll see this promo again one day.

in general, I try to stay away from cancellations because I know promos are usually lost when you only get one bite at the apple.

exactly why I go for gcs because you don't get to return them and you know exactly what you are getting and I would have gone strictly with gcs for this promo on day 1 had it not been for....nevermind.
