I got in on the Target Sony LCD TV deals. I bought a 40" for about $325 and a 32" for about $210 after tax, both including Target warranty (one 3-year and one 2-year). They're floor display models though. I usually wouldn't get warranties, but since the displays had a 10% discount I just decided to spend it on the warranty in case the displays die on me.

$535 isn't that pricey. Especially for 2 TVs. But I actually had the money to blow. When I worked at the law office a few years ago, my boss gave out giftcards for Xmas. One year I got a $500 Target GC and the following year I got $200. The difference in GC amounts was because he got married on the $500 GC year and he returned a lot of duplicate and unwanted items to Targets and other stores like Macys and Nordstrom. I still had $300 total leftover in GCs so I used it all! Yay!
