Company isn't the easiest to deal with if you need to warranty anything. They will eventually replace your item but it will take weeks and come from China.
SD price graph shows a constant $160 price, but camelcamelcamel shows the price has occasionally hit the listed $250 original price. Not as big a sale as you might think, but certainly better than the completely fake sale the SD price graph implies.
Just because they both are based on flash memory does not make them equal. SSDs generate much more heat and will fail prematurely if left in a hot car all the time. lol

V*ntrue has there IMX 678+675 S1 Pro Max on sale at Amazon for $157 with their email coupon. I can't post it as a deal because apparently V*ntrue was spamming their products on this site and got banned. But I just bought mine from their website which was $145 with some coupon manipulation, and a CPL filter for $6 with even more manipulation. Can't comment on it's long-term reliability, these IMX 678 cams seem to be overall less reliable, but Viofo's offering with the same sensors is $220.

If I have an A129 plus already installed in my truck, can I just replace the front and rear cameras and keep the existing cable? Or would I need to rerun the cable and terminate at the fuse box? I'm assuming I'd at least need an adapter for where the cable plugs into the cameras
I had a VIOFO Dash Cam A119 V3 2K that worked well for 2 1/2 years. Then it would need to be unplugged and plugged in again to restart it. I'm not sure if I want to try another one quite yet.

I have the Mini in my spare vehicle, works good but I can't figure out one annoying feature. I have sensitivity set to the lowest settings, but it will randomly alert me that it's saving a recording because it thinks I hit something. Can hit a big pothole and have no alert, but then run over an acorn and it thinks I drove off a cliff.
I have this specific set in my Tiguan, ran it for six months with no issues. But twice in the last month it saved photos or something. I heard it say something and heard the sound when I click the photo button. I still haven't bothered to look at what it saved. I also had a 512GB Samsung microSD card fail in it about a month ago. Surprised that happened, it and my laptop say I need to format it.
Anyway, I do like the image and video quality even at night, I also got the polarizing lens over the front which does help with glare. This dashcam did well on the Project Farm channel too. I hope it holds up over time.

I mean, 99% of AliExpress looks sketchy to me if I'm being honest. But with PayPal I'm not worried about getting my money back. "when you receive them" -- if I can remember in 3 weeks if/when they get here, I'll report back. ;-)
