I paid around this for a used 6th gen (M2) with similar storage this summer. the m4's display, especially if you're an artist, is really something, and the thinness isn't just for bragging, it actually makes it a lot more portable assuming you don't throw it in an otter box. Plus the new pencil has some nice creature comforts vs the last gen (which is pretty much always the same price).

If your an amateur who needs to focus on line quality (me) vs color accuracy the m2 is probably all you need unless you really care about the computing muscle, portability or battery health stats which are an m4 exclusive for some reason
