I was able to get a Red Pocket e-SIM number for $7.78 and successfully ported it in to Metro. Plus Metro total of $165.24. All in with eSIM port-in and Metro is $173.02. Now we wait for it to unlock lol

Phone unlocking in one year is a deal-breaker.

Used number barn before. What message are you seeing? Did you choose Metro as your port out destination? Is your number barn number an instant port out number (or whatever term they use)? Double check the account number and pin you are putting in. I was off by a number and then corrected it. Number barn numbers come up as landlines so sometimes you need to call the port department at metro. They are helpful and know what they are doing. Good luck.

You can just trade them in. Reset them if you logged into an Apple ID.

Yes, they gave me a hard time when I mentioned that the reception at my workplace is poor. They wanted to troubleshoot and test it from their end. Eventually, I told them I would try the service for a few more days and might decide not to port. I asked them to share the port-out details just in case.
Do we have to wait certain days after activation for port out? Also, is there a trick to make it faster?

This pretranfered from us mobile ended with removing my paid line from my account. As it happened with me the second time (first was while transeferibg to visible) i managed CS to resolve it faster, but anyway they put line to inactive status showing in my dashboard and that if i want to use i need pay again. And this happens afte pretransfer before metro confirm the order is placed. Just be carefull where you port in phone numbers for this not to happen during port out
can you share how this process supposed to work? so buy the phone from metro first > after delivery, call boost to get the PIN > and then call Metro for port in? OR you start the port out process before you buy phone from Metro site?? TIA

It's official!
The iPhone 16e has a trade in value of $310. So trade it in for an unlocked 17e if you like.
I hadn't yet realized that an arbitrage opportunity existed for this phone via Apple Store trade-in.

Taking me back to the S4 I grabbed at AT&T after trading in some preposterous number of locked carrier phones at a fixed $50 each.

Good luck!
Jon

I'm doubtful it'll work out better than the 13 deal, which is definitely still available and in stock FYI. Good luck though, have fun in Vegas. I prefer things that are guaranteed, personally.

Also, you don't need to wait any time to trade in to the apple store. It's OK if it's locked. And, it's locked for 12 months, not 6. They changed that 18 months ago roughly.
With the 16e now established at $310, would you change your valuation of the current offer?

Good luck!
Jon

Where is everyone porting their phone number to next? Or are you all just letting it expire?
