The Onkyo TX RZ30 stands out as a strong value 9.2 channel receiver with Dirac room correction, THX certification, and enough power for most home theater setups. It is framed as a modern alternative to pricier Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, and Anthem models, especially at this price. The main caveat is that Dirac setup has a learning curve, and the advertised PayPal Pay in 4 cashback has been inconsistent for some purchases. A solid pick if you want current features without stepping up to the RZ70.

  • PayPal Pay-in-4 can reduce the effective purchase price to about $652 after tax for some buyers.

  • Dirac room correction can be a strong feature path for users who follow the calibration process carefully.

  • The receiver can be rated at 100W per channel at 8 ohms for two channels under the FTC standard.

  • THX certification can support accurate delivery at reference-level loudness without distortion or clipping.

  • PayPal Pay-in-4 and PayPal Pay Later promos can fail to qualify at checkout even when the offer appears active.

  • Dirac calibration can be confusing due to a learning curve and conflicting information.

  • The deal may be time-sensitive because the $750 pricing history has been questioned and the prior promo link may be dead.

  • The 100W at 8 ohms rating can apply only to two channels rather than all channels simultaneously.

Where are you seeing 20% PayPal promo? Tried both normal PayPal and PayPal payments, no go!
Log into your PayPal app, or the website, and check for Offers or Rewards. It should show up and you have to save the offer for the promo to work. Make sure you save it! Then just shop as you normally would and the payment option for Pay in 4 should show up -- or you might have to select the Pay Later option and it should clearly indicate Pay in 4 (not to be confused with monthly installments).

My offer says a "Pay Later" purchase. I activated the offer, clicked on the PayPal "Pay Later" button in the Adorama checkout which then opened a window with my PP wallet to chose a form of payment. The only options were my saved payment methods. Nothing said "Pay in 4" but I wasn't concerned since my offer didn't say "Pay in 4", I did use the "Pay Later" button at Adorama checkout, and chose my PayPal credit card. Now PayPal are telling me I don't qualify because it wasn't a "Pay Later" purchase. What? That's literally the button I clicked on.
Won't let me attach images.

It's really 100W at 8 ohms into 2 channels and not all channels, per FTC standard at the time (2021).

Thought I would be getting 20% back. Nope. PayPay completely screwed me on this deal. Not just me though, thousands of people. All over reddit and elsewhere how people never got their rewards and PayPal just told me and everyone else "shrug". A lot of people got their rewards, but TONS of people also got screwed. fark paypal.
