I added "IT" to be more specific because Discover has other cards that don't have the 5% cashback.

Dont think all the "IT" card has this in the Q1, 2026. Mine is a "Discover it Blue" and the Q1 2026 category is "Restaurants, Home Improvement Stores, and Select Streaming Services"; Q2 is "Grocery Stores and Wholesale Clubs". Weird.

How are you already checking the Q1 and Q2 categories? Are you looking at the categories for 2025? They were the same for me as you for 2025, but I can't see the categories for 2026 yet.

I was wondering that exact same thing. Discover is one of the oldest cards I have and after they nerfed Discover Deals and alot of other benefits I literally purchase a pack of chewing gum once a year to keep the account opened.

Discover has become trash. Had the card since 2017. Use it for the 5% and emails to add apple pay for bonus (then remove) thats it. Only positive is i get to talk to an american when i call in

Wait whaaaaat? I didn't know you can use Sam's Club gift cards at Walmart.
I guess I'll try buying like $20 Sam's Club gift card to first see if I'll get 5% bonus, and then possibly buy more.

An AI says you can also use Walmart gift cards at Sam's Club... but I haven't tried either.
