Do i need this if I already have a rotation of Nike Free Run, Pegasus 40, Pegasus Plus and Vaporfly 4? Im planning on running my first 5k in January.

Shoes that you have are good enough for training 5K. Running shoes lasts for around 400 miles. That said Fly 6 are great training and race shoes.

You're pretty fast. I run a 12-minute pace, but I also walk alot... I'm not sure these shoes can handle it. I'm registered for my first 2.5k next October

These shoes are carbon plated. They can handle paces in the 7 min just fine. But they aren't a speed shoe.

10 min plus miles any shoe can handle. Thats a jog not a run.
