It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

What can you do with the verizon gift cards? Are they just good for buying accessories and crap from verizon, or can they be used to pay your phone bills? Is it one gc even if porting in 4 lines, or 4 gc's?

That's a system bug. Clear Verizon cookies from you browser and chat will see you as a potential customer instead of a current one.

pay your bills, accessories, etc. though not sure if paying your bills via Verizon GC would void autopay discount.

That's not a bug. Verizon have made it impossible to connect over chat if you are not an active customer. It had been like that from few years perhaps.
You can, however, connect via chat (likely sales department) if you add the product to cart and go few steps into placing order. Then that chat box would have an option to talk to an agent.

I just returned from a Verizon store and I received a very good deal. I took my T-Mobile bill with me, and the sales rep applied the following discounts:
National Discount Marker: $0.00
National Discount (3+ Lines): −$20.00
"Better Deal" for 4+ Phones: −$20.00
Promotional Credit: −$45.00 per month for 36 months
This brings my monthly bill to $101.21 before AutoPay, and $61.21 after AutoPay.
No trade-in required or anything. I got the phones, and my receipt shows the above discounts.
I'm concerned that the deal I got is too good to be true and wondering if there's any hidden catch that I'm missing.
This is a killer deal if we can replicate this. Can someone confirm if anyone remotely were able to match this ? I'd like to jump on it right away Smilie

I read thru the whole thread. Didn't see a good answer on porting. Should I port in the beginning when i order or after? I see people have problem with porting. But I didn't see answer if you can port after you activate the new lines.

You can move back same day after activation. I moved to Android after activation from the app it itself. Download Verizon app on old unlocked phone if it's esim or else you'll have to go to the store to get physical sim. iPhone 17 pro would get best resell than Samsung or pixel.
Thanks. Any downside to selling them as verizon locked before the 60 day unlock period ends?

Not many would buy it Verizon locked even if you assure them unless they are your family member. Better wait for 60days it's just two months

Fair. But that's about their comfort, not my obligation to verizon, right?

Appreciate your replies!

Any thing else I should be doing to maximize my value out of the deal?

You'd be selling a financed device...

Anyone experienced the first bill is higher than the next one ? If so, what to do to get it back to normal ?

It would still be financed after 60 days, though? Or does the unlock effectively make it not financed anymore?

I just got my phones through this deal on Friday, and I've run many speed tests around town with extremely variable results – as low as 7 Mbps down/0.21 up, as high as 265( with bursts as high as 500) down/31 up; I also tried 5G standalone, but couldn't even get to 20 Mbps down with that – though interestingly still got ~30 up.

Perhaps most disappointingly, signal strength has been relatively mediocre practically everywhere I have gone – usually 1-2 bars, occasionally 3, sporadically 4 – never long enough to run a full speed test; but never has it been unusable, and latency has been mostly solid (10-30 ms, the one exception being that 7 Mbps test – which hit 100 ms).

All of these tests were run on an iPhone 17 Pro using Speedtest by Ookla to the nearest Verizon test server; I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL with which I intend to run some tests as well, but I can at least confirm that its reported signal strength is relatively in line with the iPhone.
Do you mind sharing where you are based out of? I activated 2 phones and tested them during normal hours 8am - 11pm in East LA and West LA and averaged 5 Mbps down and 0.1 up. Ranging 1 - 20 Mbs with probably 90% of the time closer to 5 Mbs. I was able to get 60 Mbs at 12am, so I guess this boils down to deprioritized data. My phones are basically bricks without wifi.
