Isn't this the normal price? I'm almost positive I paid $99 for this kit when it first came out then the price went to $150 and now $180. The drill is pretty weak imo but the impact is great. I have both the m12 fuel set and this dewalt. The m12 is better and I guess cheaper (when on sale). $180 is crazy for this

I have the 12v impact and its my daily driver for handyman work. But if i need to drive hardie board screws or timber locks, i get my 20v. I would say any dewalt tool with battery under 100$ is a pretty decent deal. Maybe not hot deal because i think i have gotten a 20v of this set for this price
No way I would be buying into Dewalt 12V in nearly TYOOL 2026, not at this price and not at half of it
Agreed. It was a great line but DeWalt decided to not make any more tools in the 12v line. I really wish they went the route of the M12 line and started to make a lot of the more niche tools that the main 20v line doesn't have.
I have a lot of m12 tools to fill the dewalt gap that I think dewalt as a brand is missing out on with as big of a customer base it has.
Interesting - my Bosch 12V tools that I have had for 7+ years are starting to fail, was considering going with DW 12V as my "grab and go" light duty units - I think the chargers are interchangeable with 20V batteries. Is there news about DW 12V I've missed?
I'm thinking 20v for the drill and impact might be better for only $20 more if you're into more hefty usage. Brushless and stronger voltage but you just don't get the tool bag. Let me know if I'm right or wrong, thinking of pulling the trigger on these two bad boys.
