One thing to note: Logitech now sells a cheaper vertical mouse called the "Lift" if you want to avoid buying refurbished. I think it's a bit smaller than the MX Vertical though, so maybe not a better option for those of us with big hands.

mouse are consumables as the micro switches gradually wear out and stop responding in about 2 years if used daily.
Therefore the concept of refurbished mouse isn't that appealing to me unless that they specify replacing new switches.
