I purchased this last time it went on sale. I feel its doesn't have efficient enough for 500gm claim

The 500mg refers to the total weight of the magnesium glycinate compound, not the amount of actual magnesium you are getting. The elemental magnesium (the part your body actually uses) is 90mg per capsule (stated on the supplement facts label).

​Magnesium glycinate is a bulky molecule because the magnesium is bonded to the amino acid glycine to make it easier on the stomach and better absorbed. While forms like magnesium oxide have much more elemental magnesium per pill, they often have poor bioavailability and can cause a laxative effect.

​I pesonally prefer brands that use Albion TRAACS (The Real Amino Acid Chelate System), as it is a fully chelated magnesium and not just buffered mixture.

cGMP certified, I check certification now since so many supplements on Amazon don't 3rd party test.
