I prefer albacore but found out it has higher levels of mercury than regular tuna. Gives me more of a reason to lean towards the cheaper stuff

Just a supporting chart on fish Toxins: The link below shows the types of tuna (and many other fish) and the Toxins associated in their testing - Not sure how old this chart is or if it is as strict in its assessment .
For years the EPA & FDA allowed many chemicals in our diet / environment which many now say including MAHA that need to be reevaluated
