Pay attention to the minimum height of adjustable desks. The min height is usually taller on the cheaper models and can't get low enough for a correct ergonomic sitting posture for a lot of people. The more expensive models get lower, I needed a min height of 25 inches.

Pay attention to the minimum height of adjustable desks. The min height is usually taller on the cheaper models and can't get low enough for a correct ergonomic sitting posture for a lot of people. The more expensive models get lower, I needed a min height of 25 inches.

Single leg on each side. Avoid unless you love a wobbly desk.

I have this one is a really good desk been going strong for 3 years, i would of liked it to have more depth just because of how long my arms are in 5"11
its also not wobbly unless someone like my 3 year old tries to hang off the edge but its solid I have 2 monitors and 2 speakers on it and i work from home i use it everyday and i also game on it, via pc its solid

I was going to mention this very important info. Thanks for jumping in!

Based on my research, it has to do with the telescoping leg extensions. The cheaper models only have 2-stage whereas the more expensive models have 3-stage. I'm pretty sure the 3-stage system is more expensive to produce which at least partially explains the price difference.

I have the 72 inch bamboo top version of this desk and love it. Lowest height is 23" and the highest height is right around 50" or so, I forget exactly. It gets a little wobbly at its highest height but not bad enough to cause anything to fall off. Anyway, who is actually running it that high..., well not me at least. I have a A1 mini that runs on the desk and it doesn't even move it while it's slings around the bed.

with the cheaper 1-motor desks are now ~$75 is most of the $100+ higher price of these specifically for the thicker real-wood desk top? would love to have one that's high end like this but not sure I'd pay more than double.

Have had my 55x28" for a year now and have absolutely no issues with stability. I mount my 12nm direct drive wheel base to it for sim racing and smash on controllers with the desk raised for high level rhythm games. I'm very happy with it.
