I bought these (in the link below) over a year ago for $19.99. They're marked down right now. I like them, but they're still a little too hot at the lowest position inside my Carhardt mittens, like on 20 degree breezy cold days. I'm walking and bundled up while using them, so I'm generating some body heat, but my hands get too cold without the warmers inside the mittens. Maybe they would be about right if I wasn't walking for close to 1 1/2 hours.

I see some comments about the back of the hand being cold. That's really not something I've thought about on my walks wearing gloves or mittens, with or without warmers. Without any warmers, it's my fingers that get especially uncomfortably cold, especially with gloves, but mittens also. These electric warmers are great. I had some electric gloves that I wore for several walks, but they were less effective when it was cold, and then one of them stopped working (battery was still good, but the glove/electric part failed.) Same thing happened to my walking partner, but only after like one or two times of wearing electric gloves.
