I've almost pulled the trigger on that deal 3 times over.
Every time, I'm stopped by the lack of usable warranty.

AAAwave's reputation isn't great, and unlike much earlier eras of personal computing, sometimes CPUs do wear-out early or 'go bad' within warranty.
Personally, I've had a Retail 5600 lose a core and got RMA'd around a year into it's life, and my roommate's Retail 7800X3D also got RMA'd earlier this year.

tl;dr:
approx. $64 is a worthwhile premium for the AMD Retail SKU Warranty, alone.
