Buy $400 worth of Disney a stock instead. You would have better chances of making money. They will probably release a similar set in a year or so.

highly unlikely since this is the second version after the first one got discontinued 3-4 years ago.

My understanding is that the Magic Kingdom is getting new paint job soon so with that stands to reason a new one would come out to match. I am thinking of investing but idea of another one coming out in 1-2 years later is scaring me away.

I got my copy below $300 after tax during the Nov sale at Lego including points and cash back but it is a harder pill to swallow at this price after tax. However, this is pretty much the cheapest price now if you want it. Honestly, I don't think they'll make the same castle in the foreseeable future.
