Would've gotten the boots if they had my size, but my critque is that it's not water proof. Only times we needs high boots like that in SoCal is during the floods.

Goes great with my slickdeal chest bag, flag patch, and bull balls for truck hitch.

I've been eyeing these for a couple of years in the UA outlet store. Not being at least water resistant is a deal breaker though. I got some Merrells on a deal a few months ago that are waterproof and look just as good (Thermo Akita). I've been pretty happy with them so far. A bonus is that they run a little wide and I have wide feet (I got the W, but another model I got are fine in regular width). Looking at the UA boots at the store, they sometimes have 4E width, but I don't see that available for this deal (in addition to being out of my size completely). I liked the look and the fit when I tried them on, but the Merrells are better all around.
