Isn't DP 2.1 typically 80Gbps??? THis cable is less bandwidth than an HDMI 2.1 cable...

There are DP40 and DP80 on 2.1. this one is DP40 (40gbps)

Would you use this? Is DP cable being used for some kind of Multiplexer or some other network transport? Are there a lot of 8k or 16k monitors for cheap pickups
