Wolverines are by far the most comfortable boot I've ever owned.

Are you crazy?! I clicked this deal just to comment to save everyone from these boots! Why do you think they go on sale so often for so cheap? They are garbage and by far the worst boots I have ever owned. I bought a pair last year for $40 on sale. Finally got around to wearing them recently and holy shit they kill my feet. Not to mention they did into my leg. Tried to wear them a few times thinking maybe they would break in but I can't do it they are that bad.

I've had one pair of wolverine boots in my life and they were horrible. For this price, wouldn't you just buy a pair of timberlands? Or solomans for that matter. Maybe even save half and buy some hi-tech boots.

I find timberlands ridiculously uncomfortable, and never understood the appeal. Timberland Pro are acceptable, but they're durable, but really heavy. I bought a pair of Wolverine's last time (not this style though) and I find them very comfortable without having to break them in. Although I did buy a pair of Superfeet to replace the insoles first.

Last Wolverines I bought (hiking shoes) fell apart and seem to have been made in the same factory as the Walmart ones that lasted longer. Used to be my favorite brand. Now I'll never buy another pair.

To each their own I've worked in heavy industrial steel mills, production, ect 20 years these were by far most comfortable and best bang for buck. Only have gotten their steel toes or meta though. Mine and his personal preference.
