My thoughts have no relation to this deal. I'm sure it's great. I might be the only one who rarely uses sae tools. I have a few sets of them that came with metric. I think I've used them 3 times in 2 years. My appliances also use metric. I guess I'm a foreign investor.
Is this worth it at the price point? I couldnt justify paying for a grip edge set.... but 20 seems too cheap for thiss. Anyone have personal experience with this set?
I'd rather have a set without the twist so I can tighten as well. It often helps to wiggle back and forth to work in the penetrating oil. I don't see myself ever using these with an impact, if something is broke then you need to finesse it out by hand imo

This is fine for the occasional stripped lugnut or oil pan bolt. No need to spend more unless you're a mechanic that regularly deals with such things.

Before these tools existed, if a bolt was stripped, I once again made it look like a bolt with a file. That method always worked for me. Maybe I need to modernize myself and get this pack.
